Hendre Chapter No.3250 held their prestigious election night at Cardiff Masonic Hall.

Hendre Chapter No. 3250 hosted their election night at Cardiff Masonic Hall on Friday 24th November, attended by over 80 Companions to witness the Chapter’s leadership transition. E.Comp. Vivian Addis Telling was elected as the First Principal, E.Comp. Terence Arthur Rowe as the Second Principal, and E.Comp. William John Charles Thomas, P2PGP, as the Third Principal.

Adding a charitable dimension to the evening, the Chapter was honoured to welcome Mr. Ian Norton and Mr. Thomas Oatley, volunteers from Prostate Cymru, who joined the companions at the festive board. Their informative presentation on prostate health garnered considerable interest and prompted numerous questions from the attendees.

In a generous gesture, First Principal, E.Comp. Neil Arnold, presented a donation of £500.00 to Prostate Cymru on behalf of the members of Hendre Chapter. Prostate Cymru is a prominent prostate health charity in Wales, dedicated to supporting men dealing with benign prostate diseases and prostate cancer. They play a crucial role in raising awareness about prostate-related issues, educating men in Wales about the diseases and their associated risks. With prostate cancer affecting 1 in 8 men in Wales, and a heightened risk of 1 in 3 for those with a family history of the disease, Prostate Cymru’s efforts are invaluable. Their awareness team also offers free workplace awareness sessions and talks to various groups.

Hendre Chapter No. 3250’s charitable contribution underscores the Masonic community’s commitment to supporting important causes and making a positive impact on society.
