This evening, at a convocation of Hendre Chapter No. 3250, the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent (GSupt) confirmed that following E.Comp. Michael Coombes’ appointment as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master he will step down as Deputy Grand Superintendent in January 2025.
At the especial Convocation of Provincial Grand Chapter to be held at Bridgend on 10th January 2025, and following the GSupt’s earlier announcement that E.Comp. Martyn Wake will be our new Deputy Grand Superintendent, the GSupt was pleased to announce this evening; that having served a most dutiful period as our Second Provincial Grand Principal, E.Comp. Lyndon Howells will complete his tour of duty on that day and the GSupt will say more about Lyndon’s continuing portfolio at that Convocation.
In consequence, the GSupt will promote E.Comp. Simon Daniel to Second Provincial Grand Principal and E.Comp. Philip Bevan to Third Provincial Grand Principal.
E.Comp. Chris Everleigh will be promoted to 1st Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals, and the GSupt was pleased to confirm that he has invited E.Comp. Jonothan Hughes to serve as 2nd Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals.
The GSupt confirmed that E.Comp. Eifion Wynne will be Provincial Grand Scribe E. and E.Comp. Kevin Mitchell will be Provincial Assistant Grand Scribe E.
To confirm, these Companions will be invested at an especial convocation of Provincial Grand Chapter held under the Banner of Adare Chapter No. 9247, at Bridgend Masonic Hall, CF31 2AP on Friday 10th January 2025.
