Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court news from the RMBI London

On Saturday 6 June, Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court in Mid Glamorgan hosted their annual Strawberry Tea with raffles and stall sales, which raised a staggering £4582. There was also a gazebo to relax in, a BBQ with burgers, hot dogs and chilled drinks, and a cake stall with quiches, tarts, vol-au-vents and other sweet treats.

Another £2449 was raised for the ticket sale for the event, taking the total profits of the day to £7031. Children and grandchildren were also very welcome and enjoyed several outdoor activities.

The highlight of the day was R.W.Bro Gareth Jones OBE, PGM OF South Wales and R.W.Bro Steve Hookey, PGM of West Wales opening the Home’s new beach garden that allows residents who are no longer able to go to the beach to enjoy some seaside feeling. All staff and residents of Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped making the day special!
A fantastic effort by one and all…sorry for the late bulletin, as I’ve just had it from RMBI London !
