On the evening of Friday, April 12th, 2024, the brethren of Lord Swansea Lodge No. 8364 gathered to celebrate W.Bro. Raymond Delano Francois Johnson’s remarkable half-century of dedication to Craft Freemasonry; a milestone marked by the presence of the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. D. Gerald Rowbottom.
W.Bro. Raymond embarked on his Masonic journey on April 8th, 1974, with his initiation into Indefatigable Lodge No. 237, Swansea, progressing through the various offices and attaining the Chair of King Solomon in 2008. He became a joining member of Lord Swansea Lodge No8364 in 2009.
In Provincial Grand Lodge W.Bro. Raymond was Appointed to PPrAGDC in 2013.
Since joining Lord Swansea Lodge, W.Bro. Raymond has been a dedicated and loyal member, always willing to assist and help where possible and when needed.
The Provincial Grand Master was to delighted to present W.Bro. Raymond with his prestigious 50 year certificate and lapel pin as a mark of his commitment to Freemasonry.
As this evening was the Election night at Lord Swansea Lodge, the tradition has been for the Worshipful Master to invite a Charity that is close to his heart to give a presentation.
W.Bro. Dr. Anthony Wardle invited Blood Cancer UK , and Ms Rhia Stankovic, Regional Relationship Manager for Wales and South West England, to deliver a presentation about the Charity, the presentation was exceptional, very informative, inspiring and well presented, the care and support provided from the Charity is exceptional.
The Worshipful Master was delighted to present a cheque for £500.00 to Rhia Stankovic which will be match funded by the Province of South Wales.
