2014 Annual Investiture

Appointments and Promotions in Grand Lodge and Supreme Grand Chapter – 2014.
I am pleased to inform you that at the Annual Investiture of Grand Officers to be held on 30th April 2014, W. Bro. H. E. Roy Woodward, PSGD, is to be promoted to Past Grand Sword Bearer, W. Bro. D. Gerald Rowbottom, PAGDC, and W. Bro. William E Jenkins, PAGDC, are to be promoted to Past Senior Grand Deacon, W. Bro. Sir Paul M. Williams, PAGDC, promoted to Acting Junior Grand Deacon and W. Bro. John F. Weldon, PAGDC is to be promoted to Past Junior Grand Deacon.
The following Brethren are to receive first appointment:

The R.W. Provincial Grand Master has invited the above named Appointees to be his guests at a Luncheon in the Tudor Room of the Imperial Hotel, Russell Square, London, prior to the Meeting of Grand Lodge, Cocktails at 12.15pm for 12.45pm.
Brethren from this Province proposing to attend the Investiture and wishing to join the R.W. Provincial Grand Master’s party will be most welcome to do so, at a fee of £35.00 inclusive of table wine, but excluding cocktails and liqueurs). Names must be submitted to me by the 11th April 2014. Cheques will be refunded to those who fail to obtain admission tickets to the Investiture provided I am informed no later than the 19th April 2014.

The Grand Superintendent will be hosting a Luncheon in honour of the above named Companions at The Hercules Pillars, Great Queen Street, following the Convocation of Supreme Grand Chapter, 12.45pm for 1.00pm. A cordial invitation is extended for you to attend this Luncheon, the cost of which will be £29 inclusive of table wines.
Applications for tickets for admission to the Grand Lodge Investiture should be sent to the Grand Secretary by the 31st March, in the manner prescribed in the Proceedings of the December Quarterly Communication. If you are subsequently informed that you have been unsuccessful in the ballot, please let my office know immediately.
A limited number of single and twin bedrooms (with bathrooms) are available at the President Hotel, Russell Square, for the nights of the 29th and 30th April. The cost of a single room is £86.00 and a twin bedded room £115.00. Both prices include a full English Breakfast and V.A.T. Please utilise the enclosed ‘Craft’ form to attend the Provincial Grand Master’s Luncheon. The “Royal Arch” form should be used in respect of the Grand Superintendent’s Luncheon only and be forwarded direct to the Office of the Provincial Grand Scribe ‘E’
