On Tuesday 24th March, R.P. St. John Charles Chapter No. 6466 held its Annual Installation Convocation at Swansea Masonic Hall.
The Chapter was honoured by the presence of the 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, E.Comp. Simon K. S. Daniel, who, accompanied by his Provincial Escort, was the Executive Officer on duty to oversee the proceedings.
Congratulations are extended to the Installing Z, E.Comp. Derryl L. Rees, for the dignified and exemplary manner in which he conducted the ceremony.
Warm congratulations are also offered to those installed:
- First Principal: E.Comp. David J. Davies
- Second Principal: E.Comp. J. Iain McCallum
Unfortunately, E.Comp. Alan J. Owen was unable to be appointed and invested on the evening as he is currently recovering at home following a recent operation. R.P. St. John Charles Chapter and Provincial Grand Chapter extend their best wishes to E.Comp. Alan for a full and speedy recovery.
The Chapter was further honoured by the presence of the Past Deputy Grand Superintendent, E.Comp. R. Michael Coombes, and the Provincial Grand Scribe Niamiah, E.Comp. Julian T. L. Rees.
Following the Convocation, Companions present enjoyed a delightful festive board. It was wonderful to see so many Companions together, enjoying each other’s company. An excellent evening was had by all.
