Well-Attended Area North Meeting Drives Momentum for 2032 Festival

On Saturday 18th April 2026, 2032 Festival Area North held a well attended and highly productive meeting for the North, welcoming Lodge Charity Stewards to the Nant Ddu Lodge Hotel and Spa. The event was organised by the Area and Deputy Chairs for the North, W.Bro. Ian Jones and W.Bro. Karl Frowen.

Charity Stewards from across the North came together in strong support of the Festival, demonstrating a shared commitment and enthusiasm for its success.

The meeting proved extremely proactive, covering a wide range of important topics including the qualification of personal jewels, Lodge awards, Lodge and Festival Relief Chests, as well as key forms and procedures. Attendees also explored a variety of incentives and initiatives aimed at ensuring the Festival remains both engaging and enjoyable for all involved.

An interactive and insightful question and answer session followed, led by the Festival Chairman, W.Bro. Simon K. S. Daniel, who addressed queries in great detail and provided valuable clarity on numerous aspects of the Festival.

It was also a pleasure to welcome the Festival Secretary and Assistant Secretary, W.Bro. James Forbes Kier and Bro. Andrew Newson, both of whom were on hand to assist with questions relating to the administration of the Festival.

W.Bro. Jeff Coles was also in attendance, offering guidance on best practices. As a seasoned veteran of Masonic Festivals, his knowledge and expertise proved invaluable to the committee and attendees alike.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the morning such a vibrant and engaging occasion. Special thanks go to the Nant Ddu Lodge Hotel and Spa for their excellent hospitality, including the provision of refreshments, Welsh cakes, and biscuits.
