On Thursday, 25 January 2024, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, V.W.Bro. Peter Jones, PGSwdB, was elected Master of the Hendre Lodge No. 3250 for the ensuing year. The Deputy Provincial Grand Master subsequently announced that he had previously spoken with the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master and requested to retire as Deputy Provincial Grand Master. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master thanked his Deputy for his valuable service to this Province over four decades.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master has granted V.W.Bro. Peter Jones, PGSwdB the distinction of a full Provincial Escort at his final duty, representing him at the Centenary Celebrations of the Kibbor Lodge No. 4364, to be held at Cardiff on Tuesday, 13 February 2024. The date is especially significant as V.W.Bro. Peter was initiated at Cardiff on 13 February 1984 by the Harlequins Lodge No. 5793.
