South Wales Freemasons Support BloomSpace with £49,750 Grant

BloomSpace is a pioneering mental health and wellbeing charity dedicated to creating safe, welcoming spaces where people of all ages can improve their wellbeing, build resilience, and feel truly connected.

What sets BloomSpace apart is its innovative approach to supporting mental health. By combining clinical expertise with creativity, culture, and community, the charity uses music, storytelling, movement, and even sport to help people build confidence, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop positive coping strategies.

Its programmes are delivered in schools, community centres, and local venues, alongside therapeutic groups and one-to-one support. This flexible approach ensures that people can access help in ways that feel natural, welcoming, and accessible.

BloomSpace supports children, young people, adults, and older people, with a particular focus on those who may not engage with more traditional mental health services.

Thanks to a grant of £49,750, from the South Wales Freemasons, BloomSpace will be able to continue delivering and expanding these vital mental health and wellbeing services. At a time when the challenges of poor mental health and social isolation continue to grow, this funding will help remove barriers to support and reach even more people within our communities.

Over the past year alone, BloomSpace’s programmes have positively impacted thousands of individuals, helping to improve wellbeing and strengthen communities across the region.

This grant has been awarded through the The Freemasons Charity, funded by the generosity of Freemasons and their families.

On behalf of the Freemasons of South Wales, we are proud and delighted to support the outstanding work of BloomSpace and the life-changing difference it continues to make.
