On Friday, 16 October 2026, Lodge of Benevolence No. 7305 held its Installation Meeting at Bridgend Masonic Hall, welcoming more than 100 Brethren for a special and memorable occasion.
The meeting saw the installation of the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Robert G. Payne, into the Chair of King Solomon, marking an important milestone in the history of the Lodge.
The Installing Master, W.Bro. Jeffery Coles, conducted an excellent Installation Ceremony, befitting the significance of the occasion and the importance of installing the Provincial Grand Master with dignity and respect.
It was particularly pleasing to see more than 60 Grand Lodge Officers in attendance, alongside a large number of visiting Brethren, whose presence contributed to the success of this special meeting.
Lodge of Benevolence is widely known as the Grand Officers’ Lodge and meets twice each year for its election and Installation Meetings. The May meeting is restricted to Grand Lodge Officers, while the October Installation Meeting is open to all Brethren, providing an opportunity for members from across the Province and beyond to attend.
On behalf of the Province of South Wales, we extend our warmest congratulations to the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Robert G. Payne on attaining the Chair of King Solomon at Lodge of Benevolence No. 7305.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to W.Bro. Jeffery Coles, the Lodge members, and all the visiting Brethren who attended and helped make this such a successful and memorable occasion.
