A Valentine’s Charity Evening in aid of those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria was arranged by Nottage Lodge No. 8452 on Saturday 11th February.
A very generous £190.00 was raised for the appeal through a raffle and during the evening a TLC Bear was auctioned by none other than W.Bro. Phillip Saunders which raised another £160.00.
The bear proved to be very popular amongst two bidders, W.Bro. Richard Mollison and Karen Sillet. Richard won the auction with a bid of £80,00 and he kindly donated the bear to Karen, who then very generously matched the £80, resulting in the TLC receiving £160.00.
