Now, Where Were We? A refresher for Entered Apprentices
Monday 2 August, 7.30 pm (Online)

In this educational talk, the Provincial Grand Orator will take the newer Brethren through the initiation ceremony and inspire them to gain knowledge about the meaning of the ritual. The presentation will serve as a useful reminder of everything learned during initiation, with additional insight into the symbolism, to encourage understanding. From opening the lodge, preparation by the Tyler, admission and obligation, the apron, working tools and charge, through to the closing of the lodge.

This 1 hour online (Zoom) event is open to all Entered Apprentice Freemasons and Lodge Mentors.

Now, where were we? A refresher for Master Masons

In the powerful Sublime Degree, which leaves a lasting impression on every Candidate, we learn the true purpose of Freemasonry.

This exclusive online event is open to all Master Masons and Lodge Mentors, in which the Provincial Grand Orator will provide a reminder of the symbolism of the third-degree ceremony.

Jacob’s Ladder
Tuesday 17 Aug at 7.30 pm (Online)

Jacob’s Ladder on the First Degree Tracing Board represents the ladder, which according to the Book of Genesis, Jacob saw in his dream: ‘Set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to Heaven; and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it’.

In this short talk, which his open to all Freemasons and non-Masons, we’ll explore the symbolism of Jacob’s Ladder in the First Degree tracing board. It will be followed by a short but fun quiz to see how much you remembered!
