The Loyal Sportsman Lodge No. 9197, will be presenting a double 3rd degree ceremony on Wednesday 1st February 2023 at 6pm, which also coincides with “The Founders Night” at Barry Masonic Hall.
The festive board will be joined by guest speaker and future initiate of the lodge, former Welsh, British, Commonwealth, International, European and World IBF feather weight boxing champion, Lee “Lightening” Selby. Also in attendance will be Bro. Eddie Avoth a former British & Commonwealth Light heavyweight boxing campion, including Bro. Colin Metson, CEO of the Welsh amateur boxing association in Cardiff.
During the festive board there will be the traditional raffle including an auction for a signed boxing glove by “The Pride Of Wales” himself, the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, Ring magazine, lineal super middleweight, and ring light heavyweight world title holder, Joe Calzaghe.
