Forthcoming changes to the Royal Arch Executive

Dear Brethren and Companions,

I greet you well and wish to share news of forthcoming changes to the Royal Arch Executive.

I am delighted to tell you that E.Comp. Ben Gait, GStB has been offered a working role with the UGLE/SGC Secretariat. To free up capacity to enable him to effectively perform his role as both Provincial Grand Secretary and with the UGLE/SGC Secretariat, he will be retiring as Provincial Grand Scribe E. in January.

Subsequently, E.Comp. Martyn P. Wake, PGStB will retire as 2nd Provincial Grand Principal and will be appointed Provincial Grand Scribe E.

E.Comp. J. Lyndon Howells, PGStB will be promoted to 2nd Provincial Grand Principal and E.Comp. Simon K.S. Daniel, PGStB will be promoted to 3rd Provincial Grand Principal.

E.Comp. Philip Bevan, PGStB will move forward to senior Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals.

E.Comp. Christopher W. Eveleigh, PGStB will be promoted to second Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals and E.Comp. Simon J. Francis, PPrGSN will be appointed as Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, in the Royal Arch.

The appointment, promotion, and investiture of the incoming Executive Officers will take place at an especial meeting of Gelligaer Chapter No. 6298; to be held by Dispensation at the Masonic Hall, Princes Avenue, Caerphilly, CF83 1HR on Tuesday, 16 January 2024. Capacity will no doubt be limited and places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Information on how to reserve your place, along with the summons, will be issued in due course.
