Establishing the Colonnade Club

colonnade-clubDear Sir and Brother,

By permission of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, I hereby give you notice that the Provincial Grand Lodge of South Wales will establish within the Province a club, to be known hereafter as the Colonnade Club, to give younger Freemasons the opportunity to meet and socialise with their peers and develop their Masonic proficiency, knowledge and experience.

It has been resolved that the Club will cater for those Freemasons who are subscribing members of a Lodge or Chapter under the Provincial Grand Lodge/Chapter of South Wales; or are subscribing members of a Lodge or Chapter under the United Grand Lodge/Supreme Grand Chapter of England and live or work within the boundaries of the Province of South Wales. We are primarily appealing to those Freemasons aged forty-five and younger.

The Committee has chosen Saint David’s Day as the date of Formation and plan on holding a launch event at the Wales Millennium Centre so that Founder Members have an opportunity to meet each other and talk about the Club’s future events.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from prospective Founder Members. If you are curious and would like to participate please email W.Bro. Andrew Grey at secretary@nullsouthwalesmason.club so that you can be included in future correspondence. You can also follow us on Twitter @ClwbColonnade.

The Colonnade Club will organise an otherwise dispersed group of Freemasons into a coherent body that engages with lodges across our Province and beyond. We hope that you will be a part of this exciting new venture.

Yn frawdol ac yn ddiffuant,

ben-sig
W.Bro. Ben Gait
