A Remembrance week to remember – 65 Degrees North Charity event update

The Worshipful Master of Beaufort Lodge No 3834, Swansea, W.Bro. Andrew Goodall, is delighted to announce the Charity evening held in September at Swansea Masonic Hall for the charity 65 Degrees North has now raised over £10,000.

Special thanks to WBro. Jim Needs who donated an electric guitar which he had made himself, he even got legendary guitarist Brian May to sign it. The guitar was auctioned in London recently and raised £2,300 which was added to the overall sum.

65 Degrees North, a charity which seeks to help in the rehabilitation of wounded, injured or sick (WIS) service personnel and veterans by offering the opportunity to participate in challenging adventure. By changing the perception of physical and mental disability through the ‘Spirit of Adventure’ they aim to inspire and motivate others to overcome, achieve and succeed.
