On Tuesday 28th April, W.Bro Jeff Coles was delighted to present 50 teddy bears, on behalf of TLC, to the Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre.
Located alongside Velindre Hospital, Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to anyone affected by cancer. The centre offers a welcoming, non-clinical environment where patients, families and friends can find guidance, reassurance and a moment of calm during what can often be an incredibly challenging time.
The donation of the TLC bears are an initiative, which aims to provide comfort to those in distress. These teddies will be given to children undergoing cancer treatment, offering a small but meaningful source of comfort, companionship and reassurance during their journey.
Staff at Maggie’s expressed their sincere gratitude for the kindness and generosity shown by South Wales Freemasons, recognising the positive impact such gestures can have on young patients and their families.
