On Monday 20th April, the Provincial Grand Master of the Freemasons of South Wales, RW Bro. Robert G. Payne, accompanied by W.Bro Merrick Jones, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, met with The Rt Hon Councillor Adrian Robson and Councillor Jayne Cowan, Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of the City and County of Cardiff, at the Mansion House.
The meeting reflected shared values of service and community responsibility, and the Provincial Grand Master was pleased to confirm a donation of £1000 in support of the Lord Mayor’s chosen charities.
The Provincial Grand Master said: “Freemasonry aims to serve our communities, and it is a pleasure to support causes that make a genuine difference to people’s lives across our Capital.”
The Lord Mayor said: “The Lady Mayoress and I were delighted to welcome the Provincial Grand Master and representatives of the Freemasons of South Wales, to the Mansion House. The support shown for the Lord Mayor’s Charities is greatly appreciated and reflects a shared commitment to service and making a positive difference within our communities.”
