Following the earlier announcement regarding the Membership Challenge within the Province, the Provincial Grand Master is delighted to confirm that W.Bro. Neil Martin Evans, PAGDC, has agreed to take on the role of leading the Membership Challenge for the Province of South Wales.
W.Bro. Neil brings with him a wealth of valuable experience in this important area, having previously served the Province of South Wales with distinction as Provincial Grand Mentor from 2017-2021 and Provincial Grand Membership Officer until 2022, during which time the Province achieved the remarkable milestone of initiating over 430 Brethren in just one year. His understanding of the principles of recruitment, mentoring, and member engagement will be a great asset as we continue to build upon the strong foundations already established.
In this role, W.Bro. Neil will work closely with our new Provincial Grand Membership Officer, W.Bro. D. Neil Morgan, PPrJGW, and our Provincial Grand Mentor, W.Bro. Dr Samuel Ll. Williams, PAGStB, to continue driving the Membership Strategy across the whole Province, ensuring a coordinated and focused approach to recruitment, retention, and member engagement.
In recognition of his willingness to undertake this important responsibility, the Provincial Grand Master will be delighted to appoint W.Bro. Neil Martin Evans, PAGDC as Assistant Provincial Grand Master (for Membership) at the meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge on the 29th of June 2026.
The Provincial Grand Master is most grateful to W.Bro. Neil for accepting this important role and looks forward to working with him as we continue to strengthen and develop Freemasonry across the Province of South Wales.
