W.Bro. Jeffrey Coles Installed as Worshipful Master of Lodge of Benevolence No. 7305

On the morning of Friday, 17th October, Lodge of Benevolence No. 7305 held its Installation Meeting at Bridgend Masonic Hall.

Often referred to as “the Grand Officers’ Lodge”, membership of Lodge of Benevolence is restricted to Grand Lodge Officers only. The Lodge meets twice each year, in May for the election of the Master, and in October for the Installation meeting. While the May meeting remains exclusive to Grand Lodge Officers, non-Grand Officers are welcome to attend the October Installation meeting as guests.

At the previous meeting in May, it was unanimously decided that W. Bro. Jeffrey Coles would be the Master Elect for the ensuing year. A goodly number of Brethren attended the Installation to lend their support to both the Installing Master, W. Bro. Paul Marshall, P.A.Prov.G.M., and the Master Elect, W. Bro. Jeffrey Coles.

The Installation ceremony itself was conducted in a dignified and exemplary manner by all the officers who took part, reflecting the high standards and traditions of the Lodge.

The Festive Board that followed was an exceptional occasion, marked by good company, excellent speeches, and wonderful food, a fitting conclusion to a most enjoyable and memorable occasion.

All the proceeds of the raffle were donated to Tercentenary fund.
