Plenty of Cheer from the Tercentenary Chairman!

Assistant Provincial Grand Master W. Bro. Dr. Akram Baig has expressed his delight at the outstanding response to donations supporting our exciting Tercentenary Finale Celebrations in 2027.

Dr Baig said ” The Provincial Grand Lodges’ Tercentenary in 2027 marks a truly historic milestone – 300 years of Freemasonry in South Wales”

Lodges, Chapters, and individual Brethren across the Province have shown exceptional generosity, particularly through contributions made during Installation ceremonies and Festive Board raffles.

Dr. Baig paid tribute to the Area Chairs and Tercentenary Representatives for their tremendous commitment and creativity, from luncheons and BBQs to themed evenings, galas, and business lunches, their enthusiasm truly shines through.

“With the dedication of such Brethren,” said Dr. Baig, “our Tercentenary celebrations will be one to remember. It’s wonderful to see Brethren and Companions supporting these important initiatives.”

He also extended heartfelt thanks to the Tercentenary Committee, whose tireless work continues to drive the success of the campaign.

Dr. Baig was particularly pleased to recently receive a £1,000 cheque from W. Bro. Dyfrig Edwards and W. Bro. Phillip Aubrey, Chairman and Secretary of Bridgend Masonic Hall, in support of the Tercentenary Fund.

Further generous donation’s were received from Doric Lodge, and Old Barrians Lodge, presented by their Worshipful Master’s, W. Bro. Amed Ajzan, to the Deputy Provincial Grand Master in Charge, V. W. Bro. D. Huw E. Mosford, and W.Bro. W.bro. Christopher Bell, to Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W.Bro. Dr. Akram Baig.
