1717 Enactment Ceremony in Neath on Tuesday 31st January

The St Cecilia Demonstration Team will be performing the first of several unique 1717 Enactment Ceremonies in celebration of the Tercentenary of United Grand Lodge, by kind invitation of Cambrian Lodge, at the Neath Masonic Hall on Tuesday 31st January 2017, starting at 6.30pm.

This promises to be both informative and fun, with the Demonstration Team using a certain amount of theatrical licence to entertain & educate.

It seems appropriate to start off the round of demonstrations at the oldest purpose built Temple in the Province.

Cambrian Lodge was Consecrated on the 31st of January 1821 in St. Thomas’s Church in the heart of Neath, as in those times the Lodge met in a variety of licenced premises in the town, before the building of the present Masonic Hall & Temple, hence the date chosen.

Those intending to be present on the 31st are advised that the Temple can only accommodate a limited number, so early advice to the Lodge is needed to avoid disappointment.

Meals at Neath now have to be pre-booked, so again if you wish to attend the Festive Board your reservation and preferably payment in advance should be received by W.Bro Brian by January 24th AT THE LATEST.

If you wish to attend then please contact Brian Warlow at  by email: b_warlow@nullsky.com or tel 07855761225 or 01639699063.

The normal Lodge Meeting in January will also be held on January 17th.
