UGLE “Building Together” conference at the Berkshire Masonic Centre, Sindlesham.

On Saturday 20th September 2025, the United Grand Lodge of England held its “Building Together” conference at the Berkshire Masonic Centre, Sindlesham.

Building Together brings together the Craft Members’ Pathway and the Royal Arch Archway, harmonising these two successful programmes into a single framework. It serves as a blueprint for how Freemasons can communicate the benefits of membership, focusing on personal growth, building friendships, and supporting communities. Rather than being an imposed programme, it consolidates and updates existing resources, providing practical ideas to help Lodges and Chapters thrive by engaging members, improving meetings, and encouraging growth.

The narrative is firmly rooted in the core values of Freemasonry: Integrity, Friendship, Respect, and Service.

Representing the Province at the conference were members of the Provincial Strategy Team, led by Assistant Provincial Grand Master W.Bro. R. Michael Coombes, accompanied by Provincial Grand Membership Officer W.Bro. Duncan Kennedy, and Provincial Grand Communications Officer W.Bro. Karl Frowen.

Over the coming months, the Provincial Strategy Team will be condensing, reviewing, and refining the Building Together document. They look forward to rolling out this important initiative to Lodges and Chapters across the Province in the New Year.
