On Monday, 27th October, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W. Bro. Timothy R. Clark, accompanied by his Provincial Escort, attended the Installation Meeting of North Glamorgan Lodge No. 4055, held at Merthyr Masonic Hall, Merthyr Tydfil.

A wonderful ceremony ensued, during which Bro. John Askey was installed into the Chair of King Solomon by the Installing Master, W. Bro. Gethyn Thomas.
A particularly touching moment came when W. Bro. Gethyn was presented with his Immediate Past Master’s Jewel. In the absence of W. Bro. Gareth Whale, the presentation was made by Gethyn’s father, W. Bro. Richard Thomas. The jewel itself held great sentimental value, having originally belonged to W. Bro. Gareth, who had presented it to Richard upon his own completion of office as Worshipful Master.
The Festive Board proved to be a lively and memorable occasion, as one would expect in the Valleys, marked by generous hospitality, warmth, and genuine friendship.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newly installed Worshipful Master, W. Bro. John Askey, for a happy and successful year in the Chair of North Glamorgan Lodge No. 4055.
The Lodge also presented Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W.Bro. Timothy. R Clark with a cheque for the Provincial Samaritan fund and a cheque for the 2027 Tercentenary fund.
