The Colonnade Club assembled for its annual general meeting at Courts in Penarth on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024. The meeting was attended by members and distinguished guests, including the R.W. Provincial Grand Master, D. Gerald Rowbottom, and his ProvGDC, W.Bro. Merrick Jones.
The appointment of a new Chairman is customary at the AGM meeting, and it is with great pleasure the Club have unanimously elected and appointed W.Bro. Paul Corcoran to serve as the Club’s new Chairman, succeeding the outgoing Chairman, Bro. Sion Radzma.
W.Bro. Paul expressed his thanks to Bro. Sion for his dedicated, committed, and enthusiastic leadership over the past year, on behalf of all the members.
The Chairman announced the following Brethren would serve vital and pivotal roles within the Club for the ensuing year:
Deputy Chair: Bro. Ross Williams
Treasurer: Bro. Johnathan Jones
Secretary: Bro. Luke Scowen
The R.W. Provincial Grand Master, D. Gerald Rowbottom, in his capacity as Club President, offered congratulations and extended his best wishes for the club’s success for the ensuing year.
The 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, E.Comp. Lyndon Howells was delighted to accept honorary membership of the Colonnade Club and was presented with the Club’s esteemed tie as a token of their appreciation from the outgoing Chairman, Bro. Sion Radzma.
