At the meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge Committee in Barry this evening (8th May) the Provincial Grand Master, Rt W.Bro. Gareth Jones, announced that W.Bro. Paul Marshall had offered his resignation as Assistant Provincial Grand Master on the grounds of his continuing ill health. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master had accepted it with regret and wished him a speedy recovery.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master then announced that he intended to appoint W.Bro. Alan Gardener as successor to W. Bro. Paul, and that his installation would take place at the annual meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge on 29th June.
We wish W.Bro. Paul a speedy recovery and offer our hearty congratulations to W.Bro. Alan Gardener on his appointment.
