On Friday, 16th May 2025, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W. Bro. Dr. Akram Baig, accompanied by his Provincial escort, attended the Installation Ceremony of Lodge of Round Table No. 9549 at Cardiff Masonic Hall.
An excellent ceremony ensued, with particular commendation to the Installing Master, W. Bro. Chris Harness, for the dignified and heartfelt manner in which he installed his successor, W. Bro. John James Bell, into the Chair of King Solomon.
The evening was further enhanced by a festive board filled with laughter, friendship, and genuine camaraderie, contributing to what was a truly memorable occasion.
Lodge of Round Table holds a special place in the heart of W. Bro. Dr. Akram Baig. Not only was the Lodge founded by him, but he also served as its Primus Master at its consecration on 3rd June 1994. Furthermore, on 26th March 1999, the Lodge held its Banner Dedication Ceremony, for which W. Bro. Dr. Baig designed and presented the banner.
