Christmas Address by the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in and over South Wales and Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Designate

Dear Brethren,

I greet you well and take this opportunity to offer you, your Families and friends every blessing this Christmas.

2021 has been another momentous year in our history, particularly with the culmination of our Festival in aid of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution, where your magnificent generosity resulted in a sum of over £5.6 Million being transferred to the Masonic Charitable Foundation. The Gala evening was a huge success and proved a fitting opportunity for us to say thank you and “Bon Voyage” to our Provincial Grand Master for the preceding 8 years; Gareth Jones and his wife Susan.

The Most Worshipful Grand Master has paid me the singular honour of succeeding Right Worshipful Brother Gareth and I know that you will all join with me in thanking him and all of his Past Executive, as a new Team take on the challenges that lie ahead of us.

One of those current challenges is the continuing restrictions placed upon our lives, caused by COVID. This has resulted in my Installation currently being planned to take place in London. However, it is my intention, to complete further Provincial business at Hendre Lodge, in January 2022.

Brethren and Companions, you are the reason that I am a Freemason. Your loyalty and friendship mean the World to me and I will work as hard as I am able, day and night, to repay that support; always to try to better your experience of our Ancient and Honourable Institution.

Please look after yourself, keep safe and well and continue to be that constant pillar of support to our Society, to those who we care about I wish you all every Blessing this Christmas and good health and happiness throughout 2022.

May God bless you all, my Brethren in particular and Freemasonry in general!
