On Sunday 30th November at 10am, the 2032 Festival South Area Chair, W.Bro. Huw Davies, together with the Deputy Area Chair for the South, Bro. David Horgan, hosted the first presentation for the Southern Lodge Charity Stewards, covering the Vale of Glamorgan, at Barry Masonic Hall.

The event brought together Lodge Charity Stewards from across the Area, providing a valuable opportunity to connect, share experiences, and raise key questions ahead of the 2032 Festival and its formal launch in January.
Attendees received a clear and informative presentation outlining the importance of sustained giving and the pivotal role that covenants will play in the long-term success of the Festival. The session also offered a range of practical ideas and suggestions designed to help brethren support the Appeal and contribute to a meaningful legacy for years to come.

We were also pleased to welcome the newly appointed Festival Chairman, W.Bro. Simon K. S. Daniel, Second Provincial Grand Principal, accompanied by the Festival Secretary, W.Bro. James A. Forbes Keir, and Assistant Secretary, Bro. Andrew R. Newson.
A second presentation will be held shortly for the remaining Charity Stewards from the West of the Area.
With two of the four Areas now completing their initial Charity Stewards’ presentations, momentum is steadily building across the Province. These early sessions have set a positive and encouraging tone as we look toward the official launch of the 2032 Festival at Hendre Lodge in January, an event we approach with genuine optimism and excitement.
