New Grand Charity grants have been announced: £20,000 in total for eight smaller, nationwide charities.
These are the latest awards through the Grand Charity’s Minor Grants Programme which funds projects and services in the areas of medical research, support for vulnerable people and youth opportunities.
Of particular interest is the grant of two thousand pounds to the Swansea based childrens’ charity The Christian Lewis Trust. This charity has cared and supported families affected by children’s cancer and has helped more than 4000 families and gained UK-wide recognition for its work.
